Brass section’s students aged 11-17 play in the orchestra. The orchestra took part in the international big band festival “Vilnius Band 2002 ", VII International Children and Youth Jazz Festival “Junior Jazz 2003", in the competition "Small Stars hour in 2011”, organized by the Lithuanian television, big band festival “Flora jazz 2011”, in 2012 international big band festival in Bramstedt (Germany), in 2014 international big band festival Ochrid (Makedonia), in 2016 international big band festival in Croatia, Klaipėda “ Sea Festival ". This orchestra performed the concert programs in Latvia, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, Germany, Croatia, Greece, Macedonia. Orchestra's artistic activity is given a prominent position in national and international competitions. Winners names were given as follows: in 2007, at the international competition for “Spring Trumpets” was deserved Grand Prix; in 2009 Laureate diploma was won in Latvia (AUCA); in 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 in the “Spring Trumpets " was won the1st place. In 2013 the orchestra took part in the international big band competitions and was won the1st place: “Spring Trumpets” (Lithuania), Latvia (AUCA), Latvia (Liepoja). In 2015, 2016, 2017 in Latvia (Liepoja) was won the 2 nd place. Orchestra’s musicians and their leader, full of new ideas, successfully follow their way into the future, filling young people's lives with a new artistic experience and bringing joy to the audience...
