Choir "Hejnal Mazancowice" was founded in 1946. Krzysztof Przemyk has been its conductor since 1991. Choir’s repertoire is rich and versatile. It includes pieces from various eras, ranging from renaissance music to contemporary compositions and oratorios and cantatas. Abroad, the choir has performed in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Russia, Italy and Greece. Achievements of recent years: the IIIrd prize at the International Wrocław Choir Festival "Vratislavia Sacra" in 2011; IIIrd place on the XIVth Choral Festival in Łódź "Cantio Lodziensis" in 2011; Silver Diploma at the VIIth Festival of Choral Music Mater Misericordiae in Ząbki in 2012; Ist place on the XI Maria’s Song Festival "Magnificat" in Piekary Śląskie in 2013.
