Founded in June 2006, the Vox Animae vocal ensemble brings together 26 singers from the Neuchâtel region to perform an a capella repertoire that is rarely performed in Switzerland. Their favourites range from the Renaissance to the present day, with an emphasis on double choir and 8-voice songs. In 2007 Vox Animae won the 1st prize at the USC choral competition in Solothurn. In 2011, it also won the 1st prize at the Fribourg competition and in 2014 Vox Animae shone at the Zwickau international competition (Germany), winning two gold diplomas. In July 2016, it won a silver medal at the International Choral Festival of Preveza (Greece) and the magnificent Special Prize for the best programme. In addition to his many concerts in Switzerland, he also obtained two gold diplomas at the Kalamata Festival (Greece) in 2019.
