The Karel Dvořáček Youth Choir was founded at Orlová Elementary School in 1992. The school children sing according to age categories in three children choirs and the Youth Choir was founded primarily for boys who can no longer sing in children choirs. Although there are not many of them and the composition of the Youth Choir is changing every year, they enjoy singing in the choir and being in contact with their friends. Together with other choirs of the elementary school, the Youth Choir participates in various programs of the town of Orlová. Last but not least, they are regular participants in competitions and festivals throughout the country. At the regional display of DPS in Orlová as part of the National Displays of Children Choirs, the choir won a silver range this year and at the International Festival of Song Festivals Olomouc repeated its success. The choir's repertoire includes compositions by classical and contemporary composers, folk songs in various arrangements, as well as songs from the field of popular music. The choirmaster is Mgr. Jaromír Vrlík. Mgr. Aleš Bína accompanies the choir by playing the piano.
Jaromír Vrlík, a choirmaster of DPS Kopretina is also managing the K. Dvořáček Youth Choir. He worked as a leading playwright of children and music programs for Czech Television from 1985 to 2005. Nowadays he teaches music at elementary school with extended education of music and leads its two oldest school choirs.
