Bratislava spieva gospel (BSG) is a unique project that unites people from Bratislava and its surroundings in an open community choir. Each year, a new choir of over 200 members forms to rehearse, over nine autumn weeks, a program for three unforgettable Advent concerts in the Slovak Radio Concert Hall. The choir welcomes participants of all ages, without auditions or sheet music. This low-barrer, volunteer-led project aims to bring together amateur singers who seek community, vocal and personal growth, and the joy of singing together. Our repertoire spans a diverse mix of musical genres. Alongside traditional American gospel tunes, we incorporate elements of jazz, rap, oriental music, and classic Christmas songs.
