The choir was founded in 1966 by Vlastimil Válek. Since 1983, they spent thirty years under the direction of choirmaster Jan Štěpánek, during which they became one of the top student ensembles both nationally and internationally. For the past twelve years, the choir has been led by Jiří Jablunka, with Eva Kočařová as their accompanist. The choir is composed of approximately 90 girls aged 15 to 19. Their preparation includes regular rehearsals twice a week and additional camps. They are an award-winning ensemble, frequently participating in international competitions both in the Czech Republic and abroad, and they play an active role in the cultural life of the Kroměříž and Zlín regions.
