Tartu Youth Choir was founded in 1983 and consists mostly of university students. The choir frequently partakes in competitions both in Estonia and internationally, as well as in special projects, such as choral symphonic major forms in cooperation with various orchestras and musical theatre productions. In recent years, the choir has won the grand prix at The Antonio Vivaldi International Choral Event in Karpenisi, Greece and received 3rd place in the contemporary music category at the “Tallinn 2023” International Choir Festival.
