Kantiléna, sbor dětí a mládeže při Filharmonii Brno, přípravné oddělení Magdalenka Magdalenka is the youngest preparatory department of Kantiléna, a choir of children and youth at the Brno Philharmonic, whose patron is from 2013 a world-famous singer, former member of Kantiléna, Magdalena Kožená. The department Magdalenka attends children aged 4-8 years, from where they go to the older preparatory department - Kantilénka. From 2011 are children lead to joyful interest in music and nonviolent acquisition of proper vocal habits in the playful manner of chorus master Veronika Novosád. She shows the children a beautiful world of rhythms, harmony and melodies. Dramaturgically Magdalenka deals with classical children's choral literature and folk songs. The children from Magdalenka cooperated on the performance of Bethlehem at the theatre Husa na provázku or the contemporary composers' works by Tomáš Pálek (CD Skřítek Bambulín) or the Zdeněk Král's musical cycle (Magdalen).
