Kopretina works at K. Dvořáček Primary School with extended music education in Orlová. The choir is attended by pupils from 6th to 9th grade, who acquired experience in preparatory choirs. Every year, all choirs attend a week-long training session, where they rehearse their repertoire for concerts, festivals and competitions. These traditional friendly festivals include the Loučenská vločka, the Golden Lyre, the Moravska Třebová arcades and the Jablonec Music Festival. The children have been able to compare their vocal skills several times at Prague's "Garden of Songs" and "Prague Christmas" competitions in Prague, Vsetín's "Temple and Fortress" competition or in Nový Jičín at the nationwide Porta musicae competition, where they alternate in gold and silver ranges. The choir is a regular and successful participant in the National Children's Choir Shows and the school which they represent organizes its regional contest in Orlová. The choirmaster is Mgr. Jaromir Vrlík. Mgr. Aleš Bína accompanies the choir by playing the piano.
