Mixed Choir Echo

The group „Echo” began its artistic work in 1919 and has been working under the aegis of the Community Center of Textile Workers since 1970 which is currently subordinate to the Urban Community Center in Bielsko-Biała. The group is also a member of the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras. In the category of mixed choirs Echo is highly regarded on both regional and national scale gaining a lot of awards and honorable mentions during numerous festivals and competitions. The choir has been many times on tour in Belgium opening the European Flower Celebration with the concert in Waanrode. Moreover, the choir performed in Hungary, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
Teresa Adamus

Teresa Adamus is both a conductor and an artistic director of the choir ECHO. Teresa Adamus is a graduate of Music Faculty of Silesian University. She has been a teacher of music for 30 years and she is the one to conduct instrumental and vocal groups of children which are highly awarded in many music competitions on regular basis. In recognition of pedagogic and artistic work she was honored with the Diploma of the Minister of Culture. She was also honored for popularizing culture. She was given a Golden Badge along with the Laureates of the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras. Since 2006 to 2011 Teresa conducted voice production and was a second conductor of the choir ECHO. In June 2011 she was assigned to conduct the choir ECHO on her own.
