Železniki Primary School Choir is made up of young singers aged from 11 to 14 years. The conductor is Mrs Marjeta Naglič. Their repertoire consists of music from different historical periods and music genres. They participate in all school performances through a school year. They take active part in many town events. In May 2015 they took part in the International Music Festival in Sienna, in November 2015 they were invited choir in the School Choir Conductor Seminar in Otočec. This year, 2016 they took part in the International festival YoungBohemia in Prague.
Marjeta Naglič

Marjeta Naglič graduated from Music Pedagogy. Since 1998, she has been the conductor of school choirs, children’s and youth ones which take part in different music school activities as well as in choir festivals and contests. Marjeta Naglič has been a singer, a conductor assistant and a conductor in mixed, men’s and women’s Music ensembles. She conducts an acclaimed women’s choir Grudnove Šmikle which has been highly successful in national and international contest levels. She often participates at choir conductor seminars.
