Keuruun Serena

Keuruun Serena is a mixed choir consisting of twelve members. It was founded in 1993. The choir has two conductors: Heikki Koljonen for sacred music and Jukka Kuusisto for popular music. The repertoire of the choir varies from folk music to children’s songs, from sacred music to popular songs. The choir sings in congregational events and concerts and various kinds of other occasions. Keuruun Serena has published six recordings consisting e.g. albums of sacred music, Christmas songs. The choir has performed also abroad; in Hungary, USA, Spain, Portugal and participated in the International Verona-Garda Estate Choir Festival in Italy in 2011 and in the International Choir Competition in Olomouc, Czech Republic, in 2013.
