Studentenchor Wiener Choriphäen

The Studentenchor Wiener Choriphäen was founded in 2012 by a group of students from all over Austria who shared Vienna as their (new) home and especially shared a passion and love for music. Initially quite a small group, it currently consists of thirty members who come together once a week for rehearsals. A highlight every year is the choir camp where singers rehearse intensively for upcoming concerts and many creative decisions are made for future projects. Since the choir came into existence it has performed at and organized many events, such as summer fests, Christmas concerts and weddings in Vienna and its surrounding area. The choir has been invited to join other Austrian choirs for different concerts as well. The repertoire stretches from Renaissance music to contemporary pieces in all different kinds of languages.
