Eunice Vitae Cantamus means ‘Eunice lives to sing’ and the choir was founded in January 2010. It consists of 56 students between the ages of 14 and 18 years. The purpose of the choir is to present vocal music of many different styles. The choir performs at school assemblies, concerts, church services, festivals and competitions and is always striving for enjoyment, education and the appreciation of music within the choir as well as within the communities of Bloemfontein and also in the rest of South Africa. The choir strives to achieve and maintain a high musical standard. Some of our achievements in the past 5 years include two-time category winners in 2012 and 2013, as well as Cum Laude awards (90%+) at the National ATKV Applous Choir Competition in 2013 and 2014. This is the choir’s first overseas tour and we feel privileged to share our diverse music heritage with you. The Eunice Vitae Cantamus Choir’s greatest achievement is also our dearest wish: to touch someone’s life through our singing.
