The choral collective of "Мetriza" was created in 2005 on the faculty of psychology of Irkutsk State pedagogical University. In composition a collective there are students of Institute of higher, not having the special musical preparation. In the repertoire of choir of work of different styles and directions: including, sacred music of the Russian composers, works of the domestic classics, music of people of the world and certainly modern music of the Russian and foreign composers. Choir is Laureate of the Regional festival-competition "The Student spring" 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 years (Irkutsk, Russia), Laureate VIII the International festival of arts "Yalta vacations" in 2009 (Yalta, Ukraine), and similarly by Silver Band Diplom II International Youth music festival in 2010 (Slovakia), Laureate VII the International festival – competition «Zamkowe lato artystyczne» (Poland) in 2011, Laureate Internet Music competition 2013 (Serbia).
