Mravenečci Ferdové

The group Mravenečci Ferdové was founded in 2015 as a preparatory section of the choir Chorea pueri ustensis. It is attended by children aged 3 to 9. Young singers learn the basics of singing, proper breathing, and are introduced to music and rhythm. Children from the preparatory choir perform together with Chorea at regular concerts and events. They have sung at concerts for Mother’s Day, Christmas tree lighting ceremonies, Christmas and charity concerts, and at regular welcoming ceremonies for newborn citizens. They have also participated several times in national competitions such as Zahrada písní and Litoměřická notička, where they received bronze, silver, and gold awards. The children also attend choir camps and music workshops together with the older members. This is our first time attending an international festival, and we are already looking forward to new experiences at joint events and competitions.
