Musica al Cuore

The International Choir Musica al Cuore has been active in the Bratislava-Lamač district since 2023 and brings together singers of different nationalities and musical backgrounds. Its members are former choral singers, as well as enthusiasts with no previous choral experience, who have found in it a space for artistic growth and shared musical passion. The choir's repertoire includes sacred and secular compositions by Slovak and foreign composers, with special attention to the diversity of musical styles and the interpretation of works in original languages. Despite the relatively short time since the choir was founded, Musica al Cuore has already established itself on the domestic cultural scene and performs concerts ranging from sacred performances in churches and open-air concerts in Bratislava squares to performances at various thematically tuned musical events. The choir originated from a singing school founded by Petra Mitašíková in cooperation with Ukrainian singer and teacher Mila Medvedovska in Lamač. Since 2024, the choir has also been working closely with Natalia Goncharenko, a Ukrainian conductor, pianist and singer from Kharkiv, under whose direction the choir participates in the festival. Musica al Cuore is not only a singing ensemble, but also a community uniting people of different cultures, where music serves as a universal language of understanding.
