In 2016, as part of Ars Brunensis, a mixed choir with a long tradition, the children's choir Bystroušek was formed on the Brno scene. Currently, it consists of two sections, the younger choir Fousek and the older choir Bystroušek. The choir director, with many years of experience leading children's choirs, is MgA. Eva Kalousková. Her method of work is based on natural emotion, vocal color, expression, and rhythmic playfulness. The goal of the children's choir Bystroušek is for children who desire to explore music through their own voices to grow into naturally musical individuals, perceiving the increasing complexity of the sung pieces not as a goal but as a path to understanding the beauty of the world of music and awakening all their senses within themselves.
After graduating from high school, she attended the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, specializing in choir conducting under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Josef Pančík. From 2004 to 2012, she was the choir director of the children's choir MIBIDIZO and its preparatory sections, leading the choirs in numerous concerts and participating in international choir competitions, always receiving the highest awards, including an award for conducting performance at an international competition in Garda, Italy. From 2007 to 2012, she served as assistant conductor of the Ars Brunensis choir. As a choir director and singer, she has collaborated and continues to collaborate with numerous choirs in the Czech Republic. Since 2016, she has been the choir director of the children's choir Bystroušek and its preparatory section Fousek.
