Ying Wa Girls’ School Choir

Ying Wa Girls’ School was founded in Hong Kong in 1899 by Miss Helen Davies of the London Missionary Society. The school aims to provide students with education of a Christian character and of a high standard. The Ying Wa Girls’ School Choir Singing is an integral part in the history of Ying Wa. Hymns are always sung during assemblies and music lessons, which students greatly enjoy. The School Choir consists of girls aged 12 to 17 years. Every year, they take part in competitions and performances both inside and outside the school.

Conductor / Leader
Head of the Music Department, Miss Wong conducts the Senior Choir and the School Orchestra. She also oversees the training of the school’s vocal ensembles and instrumental ensembles. She has been the joint producer and conductor of several school musicals since 2000.
