"Zimrat Ha'aretz" Choral Ensemble from the town of Elqana, was established twenty - one years ago. The Ensemble is made-up of men and women and our repertoire is diverse: we sing Israeli songs, Ladino ballads, English songs, Jewish songs, cantorial selections as well as liturgical prayers and poems. The ensemble has performed in the past in front of European audiences, where it received wide acclaim from Jewish as well as local audiences, and in front a conference of Priests in Koscize, Slovakia. The group has taken an active part in International Music Festivals in Prague and Kosice, and in addition has performed on a regular basis in major festivals in Israel such as the International Klezmer Festival in Safed, the Ladino Festival in Jerusalem, the Ein Gev Music Festival and the Torch Lighting Ceremony on the Israeli Independence Day, in Jerusalem.
