Mixed choir of Grammar School Škofja Loka has been active since 2006/07. Three years ago the conducting baton was passed on to Žiga Kert. Every year the choir organizes two thematic concerts in Škofja Loka and elsewhere in Slovenia; in addition, it participates in different (local) cultural events. In 2009 and 2015, the choir actively took part in the traditional theatrical spectacle – the Passion Play of Škofja Loka by singing the pieces of our composer Andrej Misson. The choir regularly participates in regional and national meetings of Slovenian choirs. The choir has performed at partner schools abroad including Trieste, Friesing, Spittal and Roskilde, Denmark. In 2009, the choir gave a performance in the Slovenian Philharmonic on the occasion of The Duke of Edinburgh Awards ceremony, in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II.

He also founded a symphony orchestra, Crescendo, which performs two full season concerts annually. For the second summer in a row he participated in the Salt Lake City Choral Artists conducting workshop with Dr. Brady Allred.
