Chamber Choir Solare was established in 1977. In the beginning Solare was rather a pop-choir but for now they perform a lot more complex classical and contemporary works, mainly a cappella. In the repertoire of Solare one can find such well-known composers as Veljo Tormis, Arvo Pärt, Claudio Monterverdi, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Knut Nystedt etc. However, there are also some works composed by the choir’s own former and current singers. Chamber Choir Solare has visited many countries in Europe (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Spain). In 2012 Solare released their first CD album „Hope and Love“.
