Beijing NO.22 Middle School Golden Sail Symphony Orchestra, has been established for 23 years. In 1999 our orchestra won highest honor title for the Beijing student symphony groups – Golden Sail. After 23 years of hard practice and industrious exploration of art now we have nearly 130 extraordinary young players and excellent award experience. Mr. Wang Linlin, a famous young conductor of the China Symphony Orchestra, serves as artistic adviser and permanent conductor. 1997 to date, in Beijing, district-level student art festival competition, Beijing NO.22 Middle School Golden Sail Symphony Orchestra has won the first prize for many times. In 2013 „Prague Summer“ International Youth Art Festival, our orchestra won the Gold Award and the best performance award. In 2016 the fifth National Primary and Secondary Students Art Festival, we won the first prize, and the „ the best conductor award „ for band conductors Gao Baoqun and Pan Yue. Under the guidance of famous Chinese musicians and conductors Huang Feili, Xu Xin, Hu Yongyan, Zhang Haifeng, Zhang Yi, Wang Linlin and Lin Dingding, the orchestra has always maintained a very high level and is one of the most outstanding students Symphony Orchestras in Beijing.
