Concert choir “Radost” was founded in 1980. Since that it became one of the leading choir in Moscow, creative laboratory for establishing and improving the methodology of choir education for children and youth, the basis of student’s practice for music pedagogical universities and schools of Moscow and also for annual seminar for music teachers and directors of children’s and youth choirs. The choir visited on tour with concerts many countries of the world and visited more than 30 cities in Russia. The choir won the laureate’s diplomas and prizes of the following international competitions: Germany, Bremen-2004; Thailand, Bangkok-2005; Serbia, Nis-2006; Germany, Zwickau-2006; Italy, Rome-2007; Germany, Wernigorode-2007; Czech Republic, Prague-2008; Bulgaria, Ruse-2008; Poland, Warsaw-2008; Czech Republic, Czech Budejovice-2009; Serbia, Nis-2010; Hungary, Budapest-2011; Belarus, Minsk-2012; China, Guangzhou-2012; Lithuania, Kaunas-2013; Poland, Hajnówka-2014; Serbia, Belgrade-2015; Poland, Hajnówka-2016, Serbia, Belgrade-2017 Resplendence and variety of repertoire of the choir attract widespread audience. The repertoire includes Russian spiritual and classical music, west-European classics, music by contemporary composers, musical heritage and folklore of Russia and of the other countries. Compositions a cappella are important part of repertoire. Many compositions of the program are accompanied by motion, dances, changing of costumes, showing slides etc. It makes concerts more agile and attractive.
