Banda Jove d'Onda

The young band of school music studies of Onda is born in the 90s. From 2005 is conducted by Vicente Julio Navarro Porcar. The activities that they do during the year are: October: Parade for kids. December: Christmas concert. April: A musical for children. June: Final concert. Usually we do musical exchanges with other bands from Spain. In 2008 we participated in a parade in Euro Disney (Paris). Moreover we have participated in two music festivals, Fiuggi XV “Concorso Bandistico, la Bachetta d’Oro” (Italy) and Neerpelt “European Music Festival for Young People” (Belgium). Acquiring the 2nd and 1st place in the category from 18 to 25 years.

Vicente Julio Navarro Porcar

Julio Vicente Navarro Porcar started as a professor in 1986, he was selected in the campaign “Musica a L’escola” to train music teachers of primary school. In 1996 he founded the Young Orchestra of Castellón and in 1997 the young Band of Sueras (Castellón). He started in 2005 as a conductor of the young band of Onda. Currently he is the conductor of that musical group and one of the teachers of the school.
