In the 2011 International Choral Competition held in Spain, Guangzhou Children’s Palace Choir, as the only invited Chinese children’s chorus team, beat 19 other world chorus teams and won the champion. In 2013, the Choir was invited to Russia, St Petersburg to attend the Eleventh „Singing World“ International Choral Festival and the Ninth „Singing World“ „Ave Maria“, „Here comes the spring“ , „Impossible Birds“ ,won the gold medal of the children‘s group in this competition, and also won in the folk group.
