Maestro Giuliano Viabile was born in Frontale di Apiro, Italy in 1946 and was ordained priest in 1971. He finished his musical studies at the Conservatory of G. Rossini in Pesaro, followed by studies at the Conservatory of N. Piccinni in Bari where he studied organ and organ composition together with maestro Adamo Volpi under the guidance of maestro Nino Rota. As a music teacher he taught at state schools and participated in many courses dealing with the Mediterranean polyphony. Since 1987 he has been the head organist of the Basilica of the Holy House of Loreto and the music director of the music group of th same name. He has performed in many countries (Spain, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Poland, Malta, Hungary, Greece, France, Ukraine, Liechtenstein| and was member of many onternational juries. He has also led singing courses and courses of adiastamatic notation. He has composed many masses, motets and oratorios and is currently the Art director of the “Virgo Lauretana” Sacred Music Festival and of the “Angeli musicanti” Organ Festival.
