Conductor, composer, pianist. Graduated from the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz at the Faculty of Choral Conducting and Education in the class of conducting with prof. Janusz Stanecki. Graduate of Postgraduate Studies of Choirmasterhood at the above – mentioned university. Founder and conductor of choirs at the Community Cultural Centre in Wyrzysk: Wyrzysk - “Canto” Choir, “Polish Male Choir and Wyrzysk Chamber Choir. Together with the choirs he received over 100 awards at national and international choral competitions. Previous conductor of “Con passione” choir in Wysoka and Jan Paderewski choir in Szamocin. Many of Piotr Jańczak’s compositions have gained international acclaim by becoming compulsory compositions at international choral competitions. Some of them include competitions in: Venice, Rome, Bonn, Riva del Garda, Helsingborg, Neuchatel. The composer's works are published by prestigious German choral literature publishing houses. The renowned Choral Competition Barcelona -Lloret de Mar has been offering choirs a category with his compositions since 2024. Piotr Jańczak - author of “Missa Film Stetinum’ for symphony orchestra, male choir and soloists, of which premiere took place in 2016 at the M. Karłowicz Philharmonic Hall in Szczecin. Auditioner of many choral competitions within the country and abroad. In 2009 he obtained his Ph.D of Fine Arts in conducting. Currently – research worker at the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz. He has educated many graduates of conducting class, who are successful with their choirs. Content supervisor and producer of many a’cappella and vocal-instrumental projects with Faculty Choir and Academic Choir at above-mentioned university. In 2016 he obtained a postdoctoral degree of Fine Arts in artistic conducting. He has cooperated with conductors such as: Janusz Stanecki, Kai Buman, Krzysztof Penderecki, Jacek Kraszewski, Piotr Wajrak, Jerzy Swoboda, Dainius Pavilionis, Wojciech Michniewski, Rafał Janiak, Henryk Wierzchoń, Łukasz Borowicz, Nicolas Hrudnik, Krzysztof Herdzin. He conducted choral conducting workshops in many European countries. Jury member of many renowned choral competitions in Poland and abroad. Laureate of many individual awards.
