Con Fuoco is a mixed academic choir founded at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. Known for its vibrant energy and diverse repertoire, the choir performs classical, sacred, and contemporary choral music, often combining traditional Polish works with international pieces. Con Fuoco actively participates in national and international competitions, achieving numerous awards and distinctions. The ensemble has proudly represented AGH University abroad, performing in countries such as Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Ukraine, France, Lithuania, and Slovenia. The choir also plays an integral role in the university's cultural life, engaging in academic ceremonies, concerts, and artistic projects.
Diana Mrugala-Gromek
Conductor / Leader
The choir is led by Diana Mrugała-Gromek, a distinguished choral conductor and musician with extensive experience in working with vocal ensembles. In 2007, she graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Kraków, specializing in the Faculty of Composition, Interpretation, and Music Education. She also completed Postgraduate Studies in Cultural Management at Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She specializes in choral conducting and vocal training. Under her leadership, Con Fuoco has achieved a high artistic standard, earning recognition for its musical precision, expressiveness, and dynamic interpretations. Diana Mrugała-Gromek passionately nurtures young talents, shaping their skills and inspiring a love for choral music. Thanks to her dedication, the choir enjoys success both in Poland and on the international stage.
