Mladinski pevski zbor Mavrica comes from the land of storks, cymbals, and good people. The people of Prekmurje are cheerful, and song is a faithful companion on many occasions. Singing at the school has a long and rich tradition, with the choir participating in every school event and various community events. It also takes part in regional choir meetings, consistently receiving high marks. Each year, the choir is selected to participate in regional competitions, earning three silver and three gold awards. In 2011, the choir was chosen as one of the 13 most talented junior choirs in Slovenia and performed at the major event Travelling Music in Ljubljana. Over the years, the choir has competed in several international competitions, including Svatky pisni (Olomouc), Vallis Aurea Cantat (Požega, Croatia), Slovakia Cantat (Bratislava), and Lege Artis (Tuzla, Bosnia), winning multiple silver and gold prizes.
