Pui Ching Primary School Symphony Orchestra

Under the baton of Mr. Leung Chi Pong, the Pui Ching Primary School was re-established in 2022. In 2023, the orchestra was awarded Gold Medal in Hong Kong Youth Music Interflows. The Hong Kong conductor & composer Leung Chi Pong is described as “liberate expression and passion from music” by Kharkov Times (Ukraine). Chi Pong studied in Hong Kong Baptist University for his Bachelor degree in Art (Music) and master in music in the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. His teacher includes Dr. Jerome Hoberman and Mr. Jason Lai. Chi Pong also conducted in masterclass of Prof. Kenneth Kiesler, Mr. James Judd and Prof. Jerry F. Junkin. He has appeared with orchestras such as The Academic Symphony Orchestra (Kharkov/Ukraine), Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra (Lithuania), Berlin Sinfonietta (Germany) and Academy Symphony Orchestra (Hong Kong).
