The Women's Choir Lilith consists of 24 singers, ranging in age from 18 to 65. They have been active under the guidance of Jasna Drobne for the last seven years. Every year, the choir performs in city concerts and other festivals in our country, Slovenia. The Festival of Songs 2018 in Olomouc was the choir’s first competition, and they received the gold medal. Following this, the choir participated in several other international competitions and festivals, earning three more gold medals, one silver prize, and a special prize for conductor Jasna Drobne. They also won the grand prix competition in Tuzla. The choir's repertoire ranges from Slovenian and world folk songs, compositions by Slovenian and world composers, spiritual songs, to pop music. All members of the choir are non-professional singers with empathy and a love for music. They gather once a week for two hours of practice.
Jasna Drobne was born in 1972 in Maribor. After successfully completing her secondary music education - with a focus on piano and music theory - she continued her studies and graduated from the Music Academy in Ljubljana in 1997. Since 1998, she has held a permanent position at Mladika Primary School in Ptuj, where she teaches Music and choral singing. She regularly enriches her knowledge by attending various choral courses and seminars, where she also takes on the role of lecturer. With her choirs, she has received about 30 gold and silver medals in different international competitions.
