The Chamber Choir "Vox Altisono" was established in November 2009 in the Communal Center for Culture, Sport, and Promotion in Jordanów. Since October 2011, it has been run by Ksenia Miśkiewicz. The choir's repertoire is highly diverse, containing both sacred and secular music of various styles and eras - from the Middle Ages to the present day, Polish and foreign, also folk and popular music. The annual concerts of the choir are, among others, the Concert of Christmas Carols and the Concert of Lenten Songs 'Stabat Mater'. The choir performed numerous concerts in Poland (Nowy Targ, Rabka, Krakow, Okocim, Czernichów, Myślenice) and abroad (Austria, Hungary, Lithuania, Italy).
Ksenia Miśkiewicz
Conductor / Leader
Ksenia Miśkiewicz graduated from the Academies of Music in Bydgoszcz and Kraków, beginning her choral activity in 2000. She works at the State Primary and Secondary Music School in Nowy Targ. She constantly initiates various artistic projects that aim at mobilizing the amateur singing movement in the region. Furthermore, she conducts vocal workshops and organizes international exchanges between teams.
