Copernicus Choir is a youth choir, established in 2006. The choir is the representative ensemble of Nicolaus Copernicus High School No 9 from Lublin, Poland. In 2016 and 2019, the choir won the Golden Diploma at the Provincial Review of School Choirs ‘Singing Poland’. In September 2019, the position of the conductor and artistic director of the choir was taken over by Milena Wnuk, who graduated from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and Postgraduate Choirmaster and Voice Emission Studies at the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz. She was awarded the Golden Badge of the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras. The choir was awarded the main prize and the audience prize at the International Festival of Choral Music ‘Cantantes Lublinensis’ in the VirtualFilm#VirtualChoir category. In the summer of 2022, Copernicus Choir had the opportunity to perform outside of Poland for the first time in its history. The choir performed at a music festival in Romania and North Macedonia. In 2023 they won the Golden Diploma and a Special Distinction for getting the highest score in the category of mixed choirs at the "Singing Poland" Choir Competition.
