Promusica Youth Orchestra of Málaga.

The Youth Orchestra Promúsica of Málaga It is made up of young people from 13 to 17 years old and integrated into the Orchestral and Choral Promúsica Project of Málaga (founded in year 2009), which is made up of nearly one hundred musicians of different ages and levels. They have won different first international prizes in Vienna, Florence, Bratislava, Prague and other important European cities and they have already offered more than 350 concerts in prestigious auditoriums such as the Musikvereinwith or Kozerthaus of Vienna, among others (France, Portugal,…). They have recorded 7 compact discs with music from the Baroque to the present day, including several early versions. These recordings are found on portals such as Spotify and Itunes. The Promusica association of Malaga is in charge of organizing the groups with the sponsorship of the Fundación Obra Social Unicaja and the Fundación Musical de Málaga.
Javier Claudio Portales

Javier has studied as a violinist in Spain, Luxembourg and Austria. and he has integrated various professional symphonic orchestras (Orquesta Sinfónica de Málaga, Camerata Clásica Andaluza, Gibraltar Simphony Orchestra) and chamber orchestras as tutti, concertmaster and soloist, and various chamber ensembles (duo and trio) with concerts in Spain, Algeria, France, Italy, Denmark, Austria and Germany. He has also conducted Cuenca Youth Orchestra, Allegro Chamber Orchestra of Andújar (Jaén), Academy Orchestra of Lisbon (Portugal), International Symphonic Orchestra of Eurochestries Charente-maritime Festival (France), Sevilla Youth Barroc Orchestra or Youth Orchestra of Wasingtong DC (EEUU). He is currently professor of violin at the Superior Conservatory of Music (Málaga, Spain) and International Academy of music Forum Musikae-University of Nebrija (Madrid, Spain), Doctor and Professor in the Department of Music Education at the University of Málaga, artistic director of Promúsica Project. He has served on the jury of various Spain and Italian competitions and has received different national and international awards: Best musical work of the year 2022 in Malaga, End of Degree Award, International Violin of Spain, Badge of honour of Malaga Musical Foundation and Special Award from the Florence Music Festival (Italy).
