Caulfield Grammar School Piano Trio

The trio is a Melbourne, Australia based ensemble of students from Caulfield Grammar School, Wheelers Hill Campus. The ensemble comprises of Crystal Qian – violin, Oscar Zhu – cello, Victoria Bahana – piano, all 17 years old and in the final year of their secondary schooling. Their director is oboist and pianist - Meredith Woinarski. The trio was formed in 2018 and has performed and been successful in many eisteddfods and competitions in Australia as well as performing in concerts at their school and the wider community in Melbourne. The Bratislava Festival is their first international competition. The Bradford Trio has an extensive list of works from the Piano Trio repertoire that include Claude Debussy, Dimitri Shostakovich, Anton Arensky, Paul Schonfeld, Astor Piazzola, Josef Haydn, Felix Mendelssohn and Australian composers, Matthew Hindson, Elena Kats-Chernin and Ross Edwards. They also perform works by Australian arranger and conductor, Nicholas Buc, of popular artists such as ABBA, Michael Jackson, Billy Joel, Ben Folds and Queen.
