Our children’s choir Youth is attached to Primary Art School placed in the small foothill town- Jablonec nad Jizerou. Singing in choir has had long tradition here. Our children’s choir was established in 1959 and since then, whole generations of local singers were enthusiastically participating in it. > At the present 22 young, beautiful girls and women in the age in between 15-25 are singing in choir Youth. Many of them are also solo vocalists or playing various musical instruments outside of choir. > Choir’s main repertoire is predominantly folk songs in various arrangements, gospel songs and other creations of world – wide authors. Choir regularly performs in front of local audience, participates in various competitions and musical festivals. However the main mission will always be to bring young people closer to the music and help them to recognize the beauty of harmony created by human voice. Last but not least the choir vocalists loves giving joy through music not only to their listeners but to themselves as well. Our motto is: Singing person can’t be a bad person!
