Veronika Pavlovičová

Conductor / Leader

Veronika Pavlovičová (1947) got the primary musical education at ZUŠ Nové Mesto nad Váhom. She was musically inspired and influented by melodicity and richness of the folklor heritage of the area of Moravské Slovácko. She was a member of many childrens and youth choirs and a also a member of the catholic church choir, where was created and developed her artistic opinion on a sacral and classical music through performing of Christmas and Easter masses. In 1968 – 1971 Veronika was a member of choir „Javorina“, she was responsible also for a voice leading of a woman part of the choir. In the same time she thought the piano at ZUŠ for one year. She was also a member of the choir established by the company Vzduchotechnika from the very beginning and responsible for a voice leading of a woman part of the choir too. Choir was lead and conducted by such personalities as Ing. D. Chochol, Dr. J. Vakoš sr. and Dr. Jozef Vakoš jr. After leaving conductor position by Dr. Jozef Vakoš Veronika Pavlovičová was supported by the choir members and her husband to become a leader of the choir. Veronika Pavlovičová has lead the choir continuosly as a conductor for more than 34 years up today.
