Gárdonyi Zoltán Youth Chamber Orchestra

The members of the Gárdonyi Zoltán Youth Chamber Orchestra are students of the Specialised Music High School of Veszprém and the Elementery Art School. The leader, Eszter Demel, is a well known figure in Hungarian music pedagogy. The orchestra’s performing style and sounding is highly appreciated by the public. They performed in MÜPA in Budapest and during the International Auer Violin Festival, but also abroad as in Amsterdam, Belgium, Denmark and the Nederlands. Their outstanding work is honored by several awards: Piccoli Archi Festival – Golden classification, National Orchestra competition – First prize, special prize for the leader, „the best Bartók interpretation”, EMJ Neerpelt – First prize CUM LAUDE, Veszprém county Prima Prize.
