Denver Children's Choir - Mountain Aires

The Mountain Aires is the DCC’s most advanced choir for boys. Singers range in age from 11 to 18, and sing a variety of music; from classical, folk, pop, gospel and spirituals. The Mountain Aires perform throughout the Denver area each season, and participate in a choir tour every other year. Recent tours have included travel to Germany and Chicago, and a Civil Rights Tour to the U.S. South.
Lisa Cameron
Conductor / Leader
Lisa Cameron is the Music Director of the Denver Children’s Choir (DCC). She has been with the choir since its inception in 1996. Lisa has conducted every ensemble from entry level to the most advanced acapella jazz group. Her primary responsibilities include fulfilling the choir’s mission of outreach to the community, ensuring musical excellence, multiculturalism, and diversity in a nurturing environment. She supervises and is a conductor for the DCC’s Neighborhood Choir Program, which includes setting up in-school and after-school choral programs in underserved neighborhoods. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from Iowa State University and her Master of Music Education degree with an emphasis in Children’s and Adolescent Voices from Northwestern University
