String Orchestra Con Fuoco came into being in 2011 on the initative od Diana Mrugała – Gromek. It is integral part of Con Fuoco Choir. She prepared their own intrumental pieces but also projects with choir, piano and solists. First big project it was first Polish performance Steve Dobrogosz Mass in June 2012.
Diana Mrugała-Gromek completed her secondary education at Secondary State Music School in Kraków in organ class, tutored by professor ukasz Mateja. In 2007 she graduated with honours from Academy of Music in Krakw at three faculties: choir conducting, teaching the theory of music and church organ music. While at the university she participated in Socrates-Erasmus exchange and studied in Vilnius. She also finished postgraduate studies of culture management at the Jagiellonian University in Krakw. She gained her professional experience, combining studies and work with the Jesuit Choir in Krakw; she also conducted childrens choir in Salesian Church in Krakw and at the International Bach Academy. Since September 2008 she has worked as a choir conductor in Primary Music School in Krakw. She teaches piano and works as an organist in Holy Family Church in Krakw. She participated in many organ music interpretation courses in Germany and Austria (supervised among others by Martin Sander, Radosaw Tuma and Johaness Gefert), choir and orchestra conducting courses in Mainz (supervised by S. Cambreling) and in Hungary (A. Farkas, P. Broadbent). In October, 2007 she founded Gospel Voice choir and works as its conductor and artistic manager. Since November 2009 she has conducted Con Fuoco, choir of University of Science and Technology in Krakw, also founded by her.
