Vytautas Magnus University Akademy choir "VYVERE CANTUS"

Choir “Vivere Cantus” was establish in spring 2015. This academic choir was founded in order to foster choral art at the University, bringing together young professionals from all areas, as well as to represent the university in both Lithuanian and international events. To establish and to lead the choir was entrusted to the choral conductor Rolandas Daugėla and their first rehearsal was in May 2015. In September 2015, the choir had the honour to sing in VMU new rector’s inauguration. In November the choir participated in VMU faculty of Arts event, which was organised by Art Criticism students. The choir also participated in 17th universities of Lithuania student choirs’ festival, sang in many events in university and Kaunas Song Celebration.
