The choir was founded in 1992. They received a bronze plaquette of the municipality of Naklo for successful work in the range of culture at home and abroad. In 2001 they published a CD entitled »Pa se sliš' od Sv. Vida zgun'«. In 2006 they participated in a regional competition for adult choirs of Gorenjska in Škofja Loka and received the Bronze award. In 2007 they attended the contest Naša pesem 2007 and were also awarded the Bronze plaquette. In 2008 they performed at the regional concert Sozvočenja in Škofja Loka and one year later at the regional competition for adult choirs won the Gold. In 2010 they participated again in the contest Naša pesem 2010, this time in Maribor and won the Silver award. In November 2011 they attended the International competition Praga Cantat in Prague and won the Gold award. In June 2013 they received silver plaquette of the municipality of Naklo for promotion of culture at home and abroad. Last year they celebrated the 20th anniversary, which was accompanied with the feature-length concert in the lobby of the elementary school Naklo. In April they are planning a new, bigger project, a performance at the international competition in Bratislava, Slovakia. Naturally, they will be more than glad to respond to any invitation to participate, because their aim is to present themselves to the wide range of listeners at home and abroad.
Katja Klančnik Jelenc

Katja Klančnik Jelenc is a professor of violin. She studied at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, in the class of prof. Primož Novšak. From 1995 to 1997 she was a member of the orchestra Junge östereichische Philharmonie. At the time of her studies and even later, she took part of the master classes at home and abroad several times. She also participated in the chamber orchestra in Laax (Switzerland) and in the Slovenian Philharmonic orchestra. She played in various chamber ensembles, among others in the ensemble for old music Capella Carniola. She studied singing at prof. Garčević Koželj and has been actively occupied as a conductor of a women’s choir Dupljanke for the last 17 years, with whom she still appears on stage at home and abroad.
