Plamen is a chamber choir, which was established in 2012 from graduates singers of children choir Rošťák in Přelouč. Each member attend a differemt school or college, but they all share a taste for singing and music-making. In the first year of existence they managed to get silver medals in competitions Zahrada písní in Prague and at the Festival of Christmas songs and sacred music with Petr Eben Prize in Prague. Last and this year they received a gold medal at the Zahrada písní competition in Prague and silver medal at the International Festival of Songs in Olomouc. More than collecting medals we like to have fun together, make and search something new in music.
Anna Pokorná
Conductor / Leader
Anna Pokorná is a student of Faculty of Education in Hradec Kralove. In 2015 she studied choral conducting and piano at the National Pingtung Universtity in Taiwan. She loves singing, dancing and playing musical instruments, especially the piano, saxophone, flute and organ. Besides conducting the choir she also loves creating music with children of different ages. She has been leading choirs Rošťák and Plamen from Přelouč for two years now.
