Pueri et Puellae Cantores Plocenses Choir was founded in 1998 by Anna and Wiktor Bramski, who came to Płock from Lativa. During 17 years of existence local boys choir became a strong choir, which actively perform and is awarded in Polish and foreign festivals. Among its numerous awards and distinctions are: - four gold and two silver medals on International Festival “Slovakia Cantat” in Bratislava (2013); - I prize and the title of champion on International Festival “Canta al mar” in Spain (2014); - II prize in the category of equal voices up to 16 years old on „4th Portuguese Summer Choral Festival” (2015); - II prize and jury award on “The Golden Gate International Choral Festival” in San Francisco (2015). The choir takes part in congresses of International Pueri Cantores Federation of member which it is. At the moment choir has 148 members – children and youths from Płock and its surroundings – aged 8 - 25 years. The youngest group of choristers begun its music and choral education in 2012 and it is high time for them to present their skill, check their talents with other choirs and fight for first in their lives at Slovakia Cantat in Bratislava.
Anna Bramska graduated pedagogy at Riga University and conducts the Choir. She successfully combines both passions music and education. Founders of the Choir, Anna and Wiktor Bramski were many times awarded for their activities. In 2000 they were chosen to be “People of Płock City”. In 2002 for outstanding achievements in music education of children and youth and popularization of music culture they received prize from the Mayor of Płock City. In 2004 they were honored by the name of “Meritorious Culture Campaigners” by the Ministry of Culture and special award by Marshal of Mazovia Voivodeship.
