Schola Cantorum Split

Schola cantorum chamber ensemble was founded in June 2006 at the Academy of Arts in Split. Under the directorship of maestro Blazenko Juracic, Schola cantorum‘s repertoire was primarily Gregorian chant. Schola‘s repertoire afterwards also expanded to motet forms of other styles. In addition to evening concerts of Gregorian chants, Schola has worked with the ensemble Splithesis, performed at the Days of Spiritual Music „Cro patria“ and Days of Christian Culture. In November 2013 Schola has achieved first foreign visit abroad, having concerts in Vallendar and Siegburg in Germany
Sara Dodig Baucic

Sara Dodig Baucic acquired the title „Master of Music Theory“ in 2010 at the Academy of Arts in Split. For outstanding results achieved during graduate school, she won the Chancellor‘s Award and two Dean Awards. She has taught music theory courses at several music schools and was also an active participant at numerous seminar and choral conducting masterclasses in Croatia and abroad. Sara Dodig Baucic is Music director of St. Paul choir of Pujanke parish, male vocal ensemble „Pivači Sv.Pavla“, vocal a cappella group „Klapa“ at Faculty of Economics, she became art director of Schola cantorum.
