Kupliva Ilo from Helsinki, Finland, is a vocal ensemble of eight people, five women and three men. Since 2003 the group has performed under the present name, but most of the members of the group have been singing together already in the 1990’s. Until recently, Kupliva Ilo has performed mostly in family parties and company events. However, their performance at the Vaasa International Choir Festival as well as the positive feedback on their 2010 Christmas record have encouraged the ensemble to arrange more public performances.
