Con Forza

The Choir Con Forza is a repeated winner of national and international choral competitions. It was founded in 1987. Since 1994 the choir is working under direction of Janusz Lipiński. The repertoire includes works of different ages and musical styles. The choir is cooperating with many other choirs and orchestras. It is worth to mention the Mozart´s „Requiem“ and L. Bernstein´s musical “West Side Story“. Con Forza choir gave a concert in Italy and twice in Germany. For many years the choir has been one of the best choirs of music schools in Poland. The team was awarded the Grand Prix prize of Choir festival of Music Schools - Inowrocław ‚1997 and several other awards. Among others four times first place in the national choir festival of music schools of „Bel Canto”.
Janusz Lipiński
Conductor / Leader
Janusz Lipiński is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Wrocław in the class of conducting Prof. Lucjan Laprus. Since 1987 he is a teacher in the Team of music schools of Krzysztof Komedy-Trzciński in Ostrów Wielkopolski. He is a conductor of the Choir „Con Forza“ and of Children‘s Choir „Eurydice“, being active in an Ostrów Wielkopolski music school. He was repeatedly awarded among others by the ministry of Culture, as well as honoured as the „Personality of the Ostrów Wielkopolski Culture“.
