The women's choir A PRIMA VISTA was founded in 2023 from teachers from kindergartens and primary schools in Nový Jičín. Later, thanks to the interest of the public, it was strengthened by new members who are interested in working on their vocal condition and enriching the cultural scene. The choir tries to enrich the cultural life in Nový Jičín, regularly organizes concerts and performs at public events in the town. The choir's repertoire consists mostly of folk songs, but also includes sacred or popular songs. The ensemble works under the direction of twenty-two-year-old choirmaster Nina Nevrlová, a graduate of the Faculty of Education of the University of Ostrava in the field of Pedagogy and Music Education. Her interest in choral singing stems from her lifelong involvement in the Ondrášek choir in Nový Jičín, where she went through all the preparatory departments under the baton of choirmaster Josef Zajíček. In 2023 she graduated from the choir conducting studies at the Folk Conservatory in Ostrava under the expert guidance of doc. Jan Spisar. In Nový Jičín, she leads the women's choir A PRIMA VISTA and outside of choral activities she is involved in musical activities with preschool children.
